Frequently Asked Questions

Start by checking my availability calendar — it's always up to date, so you can see at a glance whether your dates are free before getting in touch. If your dates are available, just reach out through my contact form. I'll suggest a free Meet & Greet at your home so I can meet your cats and learn their routine. Once we're a good match, send me your travel dates and I'll confirm your booking.

Every visit lasts 40–50 minutes and includes feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime and cuddles, plant watering, post collection, medication administration (if needed), and photo/video updates sent directly to you. On the very first visit, I also deep-clean all your cats' items.
-
Visits are €27 on weekdays and €30 on weekends and public holidays, for up to 3 cats. Additional cats are +€5 each. The Meet & Greet is always free. You can find the full pricing breakdown on my Prices & Services page.

I cover central Berlin within approximately 3 km of Mitte (10119), including Prenzlauer Berg, Friedrichshain, and nearby neighbourhoods. If you're a bit further out, a small distance surcharge of €5 (per day) may apply. Not sure if you're in range? Just ask!
-
Yes. I have experience giving pills, liquid medications, and eye drops. During the Meet & Greet, we'll go over your cat's medication routine in detail so I can follow it exactly.
That said, it's important to be aware that not all cats will accept medication from someone they don't know — even when that person is experienced and patient. This is completely normal cat behaviour and not a reflection of anyone's effort. If your cat has a medication routine, please let me know in advance so we can discuss it during the Meet & Greet and assess together how receptive they are likely to be. As with all things involving animals, we do our very best — but outcomes can't always be guaranteed.
-
That's completely normal, and it's one of the reasons my visits are 40–50 minutes rather than quick drop-ins. The extra time allows even the shyest cats to come out at their own pace. Many of my clients' cats start off hiding and end up asking for cuddles by the second visit.
-
Currently I offer home visits only, not overnight stays. Most cats are happiest in their own environment with one or two daily visits to keep their routine consistent.
-
As early as possible! I recommend reaching out at least 2 months before your trip, especially during busy holiday periods (Christmas, Easter, summer). For last-minute requests, contact me and I'll do my best to fit you in.
-
If anything seems off during a visit — changes in eating, behaviour, or health — I'll contact you immediately. If I can't reach you, I'll follow the emergency instructions we agree on during the Meet & Greet, which can include taking your cat to a vet you've designated.
-
Yes. I carry liability insurance (Haftpflichtversicherung) that covers my cat sitting activities, so both you and your cats are protected.
-
Absolutely. Each additional cat beyond 3 is +€5 per visit. During the Meet & Greet we'll make sure the visit duration is enough for everyone to get proper attention.
-
Yes, I visit every single day — rain or shine, weekdays, weekends, and public holidays. Weekend and holiday visits are €30 per visit.

A supplementary cleaning fee of €10 applies when a visit requires significantly more time than usual due to the condition of the home. This covers situations such as an extremely soiled litter box, a water fountain that takes more than 15 minutes to clean (a standard deep-clean takes me 5–7 minutes), a heavily soiled kitchen sink or work surface, or rubbish that has been building up for several days and creates a strong odour. Under normal conditions, cleaning is fully included in the visit price — this fee only applies in exceptional cases. If I notice anything during the booking that might be relevant, I'll always flag it with you in advance.
-
I recommend leaving a spare key with me — it's the most practical arrangement. If you prefer not to leave a key with me, or if you need your key returned once you're back, you're welcome to collect it from my home at no extra charge. If you'd like me to deliver the key to your address, a €7 return fee applies. Because my daily routes are planned around scheduled visits, I can't always make a dedicated detour to every neighbourhood — so a small fee covers that extra trip.
-
It's a free first visit at your home where we meet in person, I get to know your cats, and we go through their routine together — feeding, medication, favourite spots, anything special. It's also a chance for your cats to get familiar with me before you travel. There's no obligation.
