Hi, I'm Maria — a dedicated cat sitter based in Berlin Mitte, and cats have been at the centre of my life for as long as I can remember.

I grew up surrounded by feline companions and knew early on that caring for animals was more than a hobby — it was my calling. For four years, I volunteered at a cat shelter in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, where I cared for cats in all kinds of situations: scared strays, post-surgery recoveries, kittens needing round-the-clock feeding, and seniors with complex medication routines. That experience gave me hands-on skills that no textbook could teach.

When I moved to Germany, my five cats came with me — they were family. Three of them have since crossed the rainbow bridge, leaving behind unforgettable memories and so much love. Here in Berlin, I adopted two more cats through a rescue organisation in Cyprus, and they've only deepened my commitment to animal welfare.

Today, I bring all of that experience into every single visit. Whether your cat needs pills, liquid medication, or eye drops — or simply a patient, unhurried presence — I know how to provide exactly the care they need. Every cat has their own personality, and I take the time to understand and respect it.

Being a cat sitter is not just what I do — it's an extension of the love I've carried for these wonderful animals my entire life.
